Jane (Jayne) Elizabeth TOMASIN (1944 - 2007)

Jane Elizabeth was born on 29 November 1944 at Victor House, Partlands Avenue, Ryde, Isle of Wight to Basil TOMASIN and Dorothy BULL-WILLIAMS.

Jane was brought up in the family home at 7 Milligan Road, Ryde and educated at Caversham Park Infant School, St John's Junior School and Ryde Secondary Modern School. After leaving school she changed her name to Jayne, and worked first as a GPO Telephonist, then a sales assistant in Russell and Bromley's - a local shoe shop - and as a Filing Clerk before her marriage to Michael.

She married Michael Colin WARREN on 20 March 1965 at the District Registrar Office, Newport, Isle of Wight and emigrating with him to Canada. They had three children between 1967 and 1973.

The marriage ended in divorce.

She married Ken Alvin MORGAN on 21 May 1988 at White Oakes United Church. London, Ontario, Canada.

Jane died on 28 June 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit, Parkwood Hospital, London, Ontario, Canada of Cancer after a short illness. Her ashes were buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, London, Ontario on 4 July 2007.
